Andrea LoPiccolo is a graduate of The State University of New York at Fredonia, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Video Production in 2015. After achieving a minor in Graphic Design while at Fredonia, they decided to follow a new path and pursue a second Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design at Buffalo State College, where they are currently studying. They also published a novel, The Boy Who Destroyed the World, in 2013, with a second in the works.
When it comes to their art, Andrea strives to blur the lines between fiction and reality, and often infuses an element of surrealism into their work. They are largely inspired by the expansive fictional realms of film, television, and video games, as well as the vast unknown the universe holds. Because of this, they are always willing to try new things, experiment, and find unique solutions of a particular problem.
Andrea is never found without a sketchbook on them, and can often be found drawing whenever there is a free moment. When not working, you can find them at home, watching a movie with their cats.
